These colourful display cases were designed and built for the newly re-modelled demonstration area in the reptile house at London Zoo.

The cases contained jars of specimens and mounted skeletons as well as images and graphics. Each case included a giant feely board at the base for young children to use. These were sculpted representations of enlarged areas of reptile and amphibian skin such as snake skin and turtle shell. Research for these pieces included taking a life cast of a section of skin from a real Komodo dragon!

The large interactive units were designed and built for the re-vamped Casson building. "Conservation" encouraged visitors to spot the different animals against the clock as they appeared from behind jungle scenery.

The Zoo Vets interactive allowed visitors to view real x-rays and listen to various animal heart beats on a giant stethoscope.
