This piece was designed and built for the International fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW). The exhibit highlights the plight of elephants by drawing attention to the fact that time is running out for them.
It is filled with crushed ivory, donated by the public. the hourglass is fully motorised and turns gradually and constantly.
